*NEW* Landscape Foreman

LawnCare Plus, Inc. currently has an open Foreman position on our Landscape team. Primary duties include planning and executing a variety of landscape projects for both residential and commercial properties including: installation of retaining walls and concrete paver formations such as patios, firepits, and seat walls, grading activity to manage water flow including finish seeding/sodding, installation of landscape plantings, and general site clean-up.

The optimal candidate will have experience in planning and leading a Landscape labor crew in execution of the above mentioned landscape projects to completion on-time and to quality standards. A strong understanding of horticulture best practices and the ability to operate a variety of landscape equipment – skid steer, excavator, plate compactor, etc. is needed.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Project Planning Strategy and Development – Includes client interaction to assess needs and develop the project plan, estimate material needs, establish project timelines, and create the work schedule to complete.
• Crew Supervision – Assign tasks to crew members, provide on-the job training as
  necessary, and monitor staff performance.
• Client Communication – Consultation with clients to assess landscaping needs and address questions and concerns. Facilitate communication on-site during project completion to ensure overall satisfaction is met.
• Physical work – Hands-on execution of landscape tasks – installation of hardscape materials (concrete pavers, stone, mulch, etc.), planting of trees and shrubs. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., and work both independently as well as within a team.
• Equipment Operation – Operate and maintain landscape equipment – skid steer, dump truck / trailer, excavator, landscape hand power equipment, etc.
• Quality & Safety – Ensure high quality industry standards are met during project work and completion. Ensure crew members follow proper safety procedures.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Communication Skills – Clear and concise communication with clients, crew members, and leadership.
• Leadership Skills – Ability to lead projects, motivate staff, and manage our landscape team effectively.
• Horticultural Knowledge – Thorough understanding of plant types, thoughtful install recommendations for particular environments, proper care practices.
• Technical Skills – Experience operating landscaping equipment. Valid WI Drivers License and a clean driving record without major violations or incidents.
• Physical Stamina – Ability to perform physical demanding landscape tasks outdoors in potentially adverse weather conditions.
• Attention to Detail – Maintain high standards of quality in all aspects of landscaping.

Pay level based on relevant experience.

Lawn Care Fertilizing Technician

LawnCare Plus, Inc. currently has an open technician position in our fertilizing division.  Primary duties include the application of turf chemical products to residential and commercial accounts, the acumen to make mathematical computations as well as keep accurate records, execution of lawn aerations, as well as other various duties.

The optimal candidate must be customer-focused, able to work independently as well as within a team, have the ability to lift 50 lbs, have weekend availability, and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.  You must be certified in Wisconsin for 3.0 Turf and Landscape Pesticide Application to apply.

Pay level based on relevant experience.

Landscape Laborer

LawnCare Plus, Inc. currently has an open laborer position on our Landscape team.  Primary duties include installation of landscape plantings, seeding/sodding, mulch/stone, patio and retaining wall installation, finish grading, and general site clean-up.

The optimal candidate must be customer-focused, able to work independently as well as within a team, have the ability to lift 50+ lbs, have weekend availability, and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Lawn Maintenance

LawnCare Plus, Inc. currently has open laborer positions on our Lawn Maintenance team.  Primary duties include commercial and residential mowing, string trimming, blowing debris off pavement, spring and fall clean ups, mulch application, as well as pruning of ground-level trees and shrubs.

The optimal candidates must be customer-focused, able to work independently as well as within a team, have the ability to lift 50+ lbs, have weekend availability, and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Pay level based on relevant experience.

Tree Climbers

LawnCare Plus, Inc. currently has an open Tree Climber position in our Tree Services division.  Primary duties include the safe and efficient pruning of dead and decaying tree branches as well as complete tree removals from both residential and commercial locations.  Must be proficient with both climbing of trees using ground rigging operations, as well as the operation of relevant machinery such as bucket lifts and stump grinders.

The optimal candidate must have at least 1-2 years recent climbing experience, able to work independently as well as within a team, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, weekend availability, and a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.  Being a Certified Arborist and possession of personal climbing gear is a plus.
